Originally from Whakatane, New Zealand, I completed my law
degree at the University of Canterbury, graduating with first class
honours. I began my legal career in the
world of banking and finance, advising large New Zealand corporates, banks and
other financial institutions on a wide range of finance transactions.
My career then took me to Madrid to work in the English law
team of an international law firm, where I continued to deepen my expertise in
cross-border finance. From there I moved to Edinburgh, transitioning into a
role focused on client relationship management in the financial services
industry. This shift gave me a valuable commercial perspective and sharpened my
ability to anticipate and respond to client needs.
On returning to New Zealand, I was drawn back to legal
practice. My career has been shaped by the challenge of navigating complex
transactions balanced with a passion for working with people. My goal is to
make your life easier, provide practical solutions and build lasting
relationships.
Outside of work, my love for travel has taken me on some
great adventures – from backpacking through South & Central America to
travelling through Europe in a converted van. These days, I enjoy spending time
with my young family and making the most of the outdoor Mount Maunganui
lifestyle.
